RFB-PS-24-07 Grading, Drainage & Paving of McClure Road

Background
The City of Union City is seeking qualified contractors to provide the requested work which consists of the installation of 1.19 miles of asphalt road to existing frontage with wheelchair ramps and striping where necessary. The location is the west side of State Route 92 (Campbellton-Fairburn Highway) from 230 LF west of the intersection to the City of Union City limits.

Work Details
The work under the Contract shall consist of the installation of 1.19 miles of asphalt road to existing frontage with wheelchair ramps and striping where necessary. The Contractor will provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the total Project cost; and Performance, Payment and Bid Bonds.
The Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price and a Payment Bond in an amount at least equal to 110 percent of the Contract Price, as security.
The Contractor is required to submit a Bid Bond of 5% along with bid submittal.
The City will pay the Contractor on a monthly basis, based on timely invoicing.

Period of Performance
The term of the Contract for the Project will be a period of two hundred seventy (270) calendar days.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for this contract is the west side of State Route 92 (Campbellton-Fairburn Highway) from 230 LF west of the intersection to the City of Union City limits.
