Background
The Jackson County Water and Sewerage Authority (JCWSA) is a public body established under the Jackson County Water and Sewerage Authority Act. JCWSA operates a water and sewerage system primarily serving the unincorporated areas of Jackson County, Georgia. The authority seeks to engage qualified consultants for on-demand professional engineering and related services to enhance its operational capabilities.

Work Details
Consultants are required to provide Professional Engineering, Land Surveying, Materials Testing, Construction Management, Project Administration, and related services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Land Surveying
- Materials/Construction Testing
- Environmental Consulting
- Landscape Architecture related to erosion control
- Structural Engineering.

Consultants must ensure personnel are qualified through training and experience, and adhere to various regulatory standards including JCWSA Standards, AWWA Standards, Georgia Environmental Rules, and others as specified in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract will be established for approximately three years, expected to run through May 2029.

Place of Performance
All of Jackson County, Georgia, excluding areas served by certain municipalities such as Jefferson City, Commerce, Braselton, and Nicholson.

Bidder Requirements
All firms must be properly licensed in the State of Georgia. Consultants must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that includes specific content outlined in the guidelines provided by JCWSA. Additionally, upon project selection, consultants must provide a W9 Form, E-Verify Affidavit, and Certificates of insurance including General Liability and Workman’s Compensation.
