Work to be done: The work to be done under this Contract shall include all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide for the successful construction of Renovation & Modification for St Marys City Hall as outlined in the Bid Documents.

The City of St. Marys, Georgia, is seeking bids for the renovation and modification of the St. Marys City Hall located at 2603 Osborne Road, Camden County, Brunswick, Georgia. The project aims to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the city hall to better serve the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the renovation and modification of St. Marys City Hall. This includes but is not limited to:

- Demolition
- Earthwork
- Concrete work (including forming and reinforcing)
- Masonry work (brick and concrete unit masonry)
- Structural steel framing
- Wood and plastic finishes (rough carpentry and millwork)
- Thermal and moisture protection (insulation and roofing)
- Installation of doors and windows (including hollow metal works and flush wood doors)
- Interior finishes (gypsum wall board systems, tile flooring)
- Plumbing fixtures installation
- HVAC systems setup
- Electrical work including lighting control devices and fire alarm systems.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence on or before a specified date in 2025 and must be completed within 180 calendar days after receiving a Notice to Proceed from the Owner.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at St. Marys City Hall located at 2603 Osborne Road, Camden County, Brunswick, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Bid Bond equal to 5% of their total bid amount. They must also submit proof of compliance with state licensing requirements for contractors in Georgia.

The contractor must have a valid Georgia Certified Renovation Firm License if conducting lead-based paint renovation activities. Additionally, contractors are required to maintain insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability of $1 million per occurrence and Workers’ Compensation as mandated by state law.
