R.L. Sutton Water Reclamation Facility Clarifier Rehabilitation

Background
The Cobb County Water System is issuing a solicitation for the R.L. Sutton Water Reclamation Facility Clarifier Rehabilitation project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the water reclamation facility by rehabilitating key components of the clarifier system.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Replacement of slide gates
- Installation of sludge monitors
- Installation of hose bibs
- Modifications to miscellaneous piping and valves
- Refurbishing drives
- Blasting and cleaning surfaces
- Coating metals and concrete within the concrete basins.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed following the bid acceptance on February 13, 2025. Specific timelines will be determined upon contract award.
