Project GDC-23-LEE-SP-002, New SW Regional Office, Lee State Prison

Background
The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the Georgia Department of Corrections for the construction of a New SW Regional Office and evidence storage building at Lee State Prison located in Leesburg, Georgia.

The goal of this contract is to provide a facility that meets the operational needs of the Department of Corrections.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a New Regional Office and evidence storage building at Lee State Prison. Bidders are required to submit their bids through GSFIC’s online bidding and project management system, e-Builder.

All bids must conform strictly to the bidding and contract documents provided. The bid documents include requirements for Bid Verification, Statement of Qualifications, and other necessary forms that must be fully completed and executed upon submission.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Lee State Prison where bidders can tour the project site and discuss project details.

Period of Performance
The bids will be opened at 2:00 P.M. on September 26, 2024, with a mandatory pre-bid conference scheduled for September 12, 2024, at 10:00 A.M.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Lee State Prison, located at 777 Underwood Drive, Trion, Georgia 30753.
