Professional Design and Consulting Services for Solar Photovoltaic Canopy at Parking Deck

Background
Cobb County Facilities Management is seeking comprehensive proposals for Professional Design and Consulting Services for a turnkey design project, specifically Solar Photovoltaic Generation Services (Solar Canopy) at the Waddell Street Parking Deck located at 120 Cherokee Street Northeast, Marietta, GA 30060.

The goal of this contract is to engage a qualified architectural consultant to provide professional services that will enhance the County's sustainability efforts through solar energy generation.

Work Details
The Consultant will be responsible for providing a range of professional services including: complete building design, surveying, site and utility design, demolition plans, construction documents, obtaining all applicable permits, cost estimating, coordination with the Construction Manager at Risk (CM-at-Risk), and bidding assistance.

The Consultant must ensure that all services are performed within the agreed Contract Amount and obtain written approval from the Project Manager for any additional services outside the defined Scope of Work.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the Effective Date as signed by the Owner and will remain in effect until Final Completion of the project or as otherwise specified in the agreement.

The duration may be extended by mutual agreement between the parties.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Waddell Street Parking Deck located at 120 Cherokee Street Northeast, Marietta, GA 30060.

Bidder Requirements
Consultants must demonstrate their qualifications and experience in providing architectural consulting services. They are required to maintain appropriate licenses to operate in Georgia and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Additionally, insurance coverage is required including Commercial General Liability ($1 million), Workers' Compensation ($1 million), and Professional Liability ($2 million).
