Pressure Wash and Paint GCHS Stadium Bleachers

Background
The Gordon County School System (GCSS) is seeking proposals for the pressure washing and painting of bleachers at Gordon Central High School. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and aesthetic improvement of the stadium facilities, aligning with the school system's mission to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students and the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the following tasks:

1. Preparation: Remove all dirt, debris, leaves, trash, and old tape from the bleacher surfaces. Properly dispose of all cleared debris while protecting surrounding areas.

2. Pressure Washing: Clean all bleacher seating/walking surfaces using methods compliant with SSPC standards:
- SSPC-SP1: Solvent Cleaning to remove visible oil, grease, soil, and other contaminants.
- SSPC-SP2: Hand Tool Cleaning to remove loose mill scale and rust.
- SSPC-SP3: Power Tool Cleaning for further removal of loose contaminants.

3. Painting: Apply Sherwin Williams paints as follows:
- Primer (1st Coat): Macropoxy 646 Fast Cure Epoxy Part A Mill White.
- Primer/Finish (2nd Coat): Macropoxy 646 Fast Cure Epoxy Part A Mill White.
- Finish (3rd Coat for Stair Tread Aisles Only): Acrolon 218 HS Polyurethane - Gloss (Part A) Extra White.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after the award on April 16, 2025, with a proposed timeline for completion to be included in the vendor's proposal.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Gordon Central High School located at 335 Warrior Path, Calhoun, Georgia.
