Pneumatic Control System Services

Background
The Georgia Department of Corrections is issuing this contract to procure maintenance and repair services for pneumatic control systems. The goal is to ensure the operational efficiency of these systems within the department's facilities. This contract will be established for an initial period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms, contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for pneumatic control systems as specified in the Scope of Services. This includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and any necessary parts replacement to ensure optimal functionality. All services must comply with the specifications outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFX) and any additional requirements stated in the contractor's final response.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the date specified in the State Entity Standard Contract Form and will last for one year, with options for four additional one-year renewals based on performance evaluations and funding.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various facilities managed by the Georgia Department of Corrections located throughout the state of Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including licensing requirements specific to providing maintenance services. Contractors are required to maintain a drug-free workplace as per O.C.G.A. Section 50-24-1 et seq., and must complete sexual harassment prevention training annually if regularly interacting with state personnel.
