PNA-484-072525 Value Engineering Studies

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing a Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to inform the Consultant community about an upcoming Request for Qualifications (RFQ) opportunity for Value Engineering (VE) Studies.
The goal of this contract is to engage consultants in a systematic review and analysis process during the concept and design phases of projects, aimed at enhancing project value, quality, and efficiency while minimizing costs.

Work Details
The Consultant shall provide on-call Value Engineering (VE) services, which include:
1. Conducting a systematic process of review and analysis of projects during the concept and design phases.
2. Providing recommendations to ensure needed functions are delivered safely, reliably, efficiently, and at the lowest overall cost.
3. Improving the value and quality of projects.
4. Reducing project completion time.
GDOT plans to award two contracts from this solicitation. The Prime Consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in the area class '3.16 Value Engineering (VE)', and team members must be prequalified in various other area classes including Rural Roadway Design, Urban Roadway Design, Traffic Operations Design, Minor and Major Bridge Design, Construction Engineering, and Erosion Control Plan Preparation.

Period of Performance
The anticipated schedule indicates that the RFQ will be issued on June 23, 2025, with Statements of Qualifications due by July 25, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Georgia as specified by GDOT.

Bidder Requirements
The Prime Consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in the area class '3.16 Value Engineering (VE)'. Additionally, team members must meet prequalification requirements in various related areas such as Rural Roadway Design and Traffic Operations Design.
