PNA-484-032525 Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services, District 3-Thomaston

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing a Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to inform the Consultant community about an upcoming Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services in District 3-Thomaston.

The goal of this contract is to ensure effective contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for various construction projects in the Thomaston, Columbus, Perry, Macon, and LaGrange Area Offices.

Work Details
The Consultant shall provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services which include: contract administration, inspection, materials sampling and testing for construction projects.

Project types may involve new construction, widening and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, safety improvements, and resurfacing.

The selected firm is expected to provide approximately 85 full-time employees whose qualifications will depend on the workload required for the assigned projects. Key team roles include: 2 Project Engineers, 2 Senior Inspectors, 1 Inspector I, 2 Inspector IIs, and 1 Bridge Inspector I. The Prime Consultant and Sub-consultants must be prequalified by GDOT in the area class of Construction Engineering and Supervision.

Period of Performance
The anticipated RFQ issuance date is February 21, 2025, with statements of qualifications due by March 25, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in District 3-Thomaston covering areas including Thomaston, Columbus, Perry, Macon, and LaGrange.
