Pierce Blvd Paving Project

Background
The Town of Thunderbolt, Georgia, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek qualified vendors for paving services.
The goal of the contract is to mill and pave approximately 880 linear feet of Pierce Boulevard, upgrading an antiquated street to improve safety and accessibility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for milling and paving approximately 880 linear feet on Pierce Boulevard.
The work includes:
- Milling and asphalt application conforming to the City of Savannah Standards.
- Installation of 3 manhole ring risers and valve risers where needed.
- Compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and technical specifications related to the project.
- The contractor must ensure that all improvements meet the specified standards.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed no later than August 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on Pierce Boulevard in Thunderbolt, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five years of continuous experience in similar projects.
They are required to provide proof of insurance coverage including General Liability ($1,000,000), Worker’s Compensation ($1,000,000), and Auto Liability ($1,000,000).
Additionally, successful bidders must present E-Verify participation confirmation and drug-free workplace participation confirmation.
