ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Rockdale County Public Schools invites vendors to submit their proposal to this Pest Control Services bid. Proposals submissions are due 11:00 a.m., ET May 28, 2024 (as determined by the time stamp clock when submitted online). RCPS will only accept online submissions for this RFP. Background
The Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) is seeking proposals for Pest Control Services. The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to request vendors to submit proposals to submit to the Pest Control Services bid. RCPS is currently using an outside vendor to provide all pest control services and does not have any pest control technicians on staff to respond to requests. The district has an established process to filter and report the request from customers.
There are a total of 22 sites and 21 kitchens.

Work Details
The vendor shall provide an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program type, utilizing different points of IPM, communications, monitoring, evaluations, sanitation awareness, exclusion recommendations, and mechanical and cultural control. The program shall be complemented by utilizing control monitors to determine what is occurring at the sites and identifying the type of pest, entry points, the true cause of the problem, and execute the appropriate EPA/EPD methods of treatment.
The service shall be provided Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 p.m. ET or until work is completed for safe school operations next day. Saturday and Sunday projects shall be assigned as required to ensure that problem situations are brought under control.
Emergency requests are defined as any situation that requires immediate attention due to safety concerns, school business/activities delays and/or stoppage. Routine requests shall be inspected and treated within 24 hours upon receipt and Urgent requests shall be inspected and treated the same day upon receipt.

Period of Performance
The RFP was released on May 7, 2024, with a submission due date by 11:00 a.m., ET on May 28, 2024. The contract implementation is scheduled for July 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Rockdale County Public Schools facilities located in Conyers, Georgia.
