Paver And Header Curb Installation

Background
The City of College Park is seeking qualified contractors to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of pavers and header curbs at designated locations. The objective is to enhance public spaces through professional paving installations, contributing to the city's infrastructure and aesthetic appeal.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Site preparation (excavation and grading)
- Installation of standard and/or decorative pavers
- Installation of header curbs (concrete or stone)
- Application of joint sand and edge restraints
- Site cleanup and disposal of debris
- Optional sealing and drainage solutions.

Specifications include:
- Paver Type: PAVER REPLACEMENT-NEW PAVERS
- Header Curb Type 1 (H=4”, D=6” Min) and Header Curb Type 6 (H=6”, D=7” Min)
- Installation Area: Approximate square footage to be determined
- Locations: 4400 Herschel Road near playground and tennis court, and 2001 Walker Ave., College Park, GA 30337.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed by a specified completion date which is yet to be determined.

The contract will be performed at designated locations in College Park, Georgia, specifically at 4400 Herschel Road near the playground and tennis court, and 2001 Walker Ave.

Bidder Requirements
Prospective providers must have at least five years of experience in professional paving installations. Georgia-based corporations must provide evidence of good standing from the Secretary of State. Foreign corporations must submit a Certificate of Authority along with proof of good standing from the Georgia Secretary of State. Additionally, contractors must obtain and maintain specific insurance coverage including Worker’s Compensation, Business Auto Policy, Commercial General Liability, and Professional Liability.
