Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services Bidding Opportunity

Background
This solicitation is being conducted by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) under its authority to procure services ancillary to the construction and maintenance of public roads. The goal of this contract is to secure Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services from qualified contractors who have undergone a prequalification process and hold a Maintenance Master Services Agreement (MSA).

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services, which include but are not limited to: prep work, removal, installation, and cleanup.

Specific tasks include white topping rehabilitation at intersections of SR 17/75 in White County, with an estimated quantity of 365 cubic yards. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, means of transportation, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to perform the work according to specifications.

The services also encompass traffic control measures as per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), installation of traffic loops replaced with Microwave Radar Vehicle Detection Systems, and compliance with GDOT Standard Specifications.

Period of Performance
Work must begin no later than 30 days after the Prework Meeting and must be completed within 180 days after the Prework Meeting.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at specified locations along SR 17/75 in White County from Dye St. to River St.

Bidder Requirements
Only contractors deemed as Qualified Contractors during the prequalification process with an MSA agreement beginning with (48400-410-0000034480) are eligible to participate. Contractors must comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act by registering with E-Verify. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each equal to 100% of the Award Price must be provided by the successful bidder.
