Parking Lot Resurfacing And Re-Striping

Background
The Randolph County Board of Education is seeking bid proposals for the resurfacing of the entire parking lot located at 3451 GA-266, Cuthbert, GA 39840.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and usability of the parking facility for K-12 students and staff.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Resurfacing of the old parking lot with 2 inches of new asphalt.
2. Striping of the parking lot.
3. Removal of all debris associated with the project from the property.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. Payment will be made based on actual work completed. The contractor must inspect the jobsite prior to submitting a bid and must have verifiable experience in construction of similar projects. A 10% retainage will be withheld from the total amount due until final acceptance of work is issued by the superintendent.

Period of Performance
The expected start date for this project is the first week in February 2025.
