Panic Button / Duress Alert System

Background
The Town of Braselton, Georgia is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for a panic button/duress alert system. The goal is to implement a modern, reliable emergency alert solution that can immediately notify emergency services and local responders when activated. This system will be installed at multiple municipal facilities to enhance safety and response capabilities.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a complete turnkey panic button system, which includes hardware, software, installation, configuration, testing, documentation, and limited training.

The system must support multiple activation modes (silent and audible alarms), automatically dial 911 dispatch with a pre-recorded message identifying the facility, and notify designated local responders. It must operate during power outages with integrated battery backup and provide secure management interfaces for authorized personnel. The installation must comply with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to begin upon contract award on or before June 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The system will be installed at various municipal facilities in Braselton, Georgia including Town Hall, Police/Court facility, Planning/Utilities office, The Mill, and the Library.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must demonstrate experience providing similar systems to municipal governments or law enforcement agencies. They are required to submit three references along with their proposals.

Additionally, vendors must complete a Notice of Intent to Propose form and submit required affidavits including the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Affidavit (E-Verify), IRS Form W-9, Drug Free Workplace Affidavit, and Non-Collusion Statement.
