Notice of Intent - Artificial Turf

Background
The Academy for Classical Education is providing public notice of its intent to award a contract to utilizing an existing Consortium/Cooperative Purchasing agreement with Omnia ¿ Shaw Integrated & Turf Solutions #R220504 for the installation of an artificial turf system on the football/soccer field. The purpose of this posting is to provide notice that the State Entity named below intends to enter into a contract with the cooperative awarded supplier(s) listed below. The use of this contract will allow Ace Academy to procure the necessary equipment and installation in the most efficient and timely way possible.

Work Details
Ace Academy proposes to purchase synthetic turf and installation for a Football/Soccer Field (single field). The scope of work includes supplying and installing Shaw Sports Turf Synthetic Turf System over base provided by others generally in accordance with manufacturer product specifications, warranty, and installation methods. This also involves synthetic turf per Sheet A010, supply and installation of tufted and inlaid game field markings, supply and installation of turf system infill materials, GMAX test performed upon completion of each field, Shaw Sports Turf field groomer, usable remnants becoming property of owner, maintenance instruction and training for best practices in field care and maintenance, review of the Shaw Sports Turf Maintenance manual, prices based upon private wage schedule in effect at the time of proposal, prices based upon 1 mobilization (additional charges for each additional mobilization), and utilization of Shaw Sports Turf standard adhesive. The estimated dollar value of goods/services to be awarded utilizing the Cooperative Purchasing Contract is $982,498.23.
