Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of a New Ambulance with specific requirements including:

- Modular Body: Type I, 12' constructed from custom-designed aluminum extrusions and aluminum plate, dimensions 149"L x 96"W x 72"H.
- Chassis: Dodge B4500, 4x2, Diesel with various add-ons including a backup camera, Ranch Hand full bumper replacement, and LED fog lights.
- Emergency lighting package including Whelen 900 series LED warning lights and various other lighting configurations.
- Interior features such as a power panel, flooring materials, safety restraints, and storage compartments designed for emergency medical equipment.
- HVAC system for patient comfort during transport.
- Compliance with all applicable regulations and standards for emergency vehicles.

Period of Performance
The ambulance is to be delivered within 150 days from the date of Notice of Award unless delayed by the chassis manufacturer. Proposals must be submitted by May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

The delivery location for the ambulance will be at Putnam County Board of Commissioners, 117 Putnam Drive, Suite A, Eatonton, GA 31024.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including Workers’ Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance. They must also provide proof of compliance with O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91 regarding E-Verify usage. Local and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
