N. Bogan Road at Thompson Mill Road Natural Gas Relocation

Background
The City of Buford, Georgia is issuing a request for bids for the construction of the N. Bogan Road at Thompson Mill Road Natural Gas Relocation project. This project aims to replace existing natural gas facilities that conflict with the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation's proposed improvements at the North Bogan Road and Thompson Mill Road intersection.

Work Details
The project consists of two phases:

Phase 1 involves the installation of approximately 450 linear feet of 8-inch high pressure steel gas main, 900 linear feet of 6-inch polyethylene gas main, and 1,700 linear feet of 4-inch polyethylene gas main. This includes both trenched and untrenched installation, along with line valves, connections, and other appurtenances.

Phase 2 includes the installation of an additional 1,000 linear feet of 6-inch polyethylene gas main, also involving trenched and untrenched installation, line valves, connections, and other appurtenances.

Period of Performance
The bids for the construction will be received until February 20, 2025, at which point they will be publicly opened.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Buford, Georgia.
