Background
The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) is a supportive financial and advisory service agency that assists state agencies, local governments, and stakeholders in Georgia. Work Details
The contract will involve providing MAPP Services structured into three distinct phases:
1) Assessment and Planning: This phase includes evaluating current financial reporting processes, reviewing internal control documentation, developing an audit preparation timeline, and establishing communication protocols.
2) Implementation and Preparation: This focuses on organizing records, strengthening controls, compiling necessary audit documentation, conducting monthly reviews of financial statements, assisting with account reconciliations, preparing audit schedules, developing internal control procedures, monitoring compliance for federal awards, and conducting quarterly training sessions for agency financial staff.
3) Pre-Audit Readiness and Coordination: This ensures all deliverables are complete for external auditors by conducting mock audits, final reviews of audit deliverables, and coordinating with external auditors.

The exact period of performance will be determined prior to execution of the agreement with the selected firm(s).
Place of Performance
The services will be performed for GEFA stakeholders located within the state of Georgia.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with O.C.G.A. ยง13-10-91 regarding participation in the federal work authorization program known as E-Verify. Additionally, firms must provide signed and notarized exhibits including a Statement of Qualifications Certification form and a Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit form.
