Background
Carroll County Schools is seeking proposals for the construction of an addition to Mount Zion Middle School, located at 132 Eagle Dr, Carrollton, GA 30117.
The goal of this contract is to expand the educational facilities by adding six classrooms to accommodate growing student needs.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of a six-classroom addition to Mount Zion Middle School.
General Contractors are required to submit sealed proposals that include a completed Competitive Sealed Proposal Form, a signed Bid Form, and a Bid Bond.
Additionally, contractors must provide a 'Contractor Affidavit and Agreement' demonstrating compliance with Georgia's Security and Immigration Compliance Act and affidavits verifying lawful presence within the United States through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program.
A bid bond of five percent of the base bid is required, along with performance and payment bonds amounting to one hundred percent of the contract sum prior to commencement of construction.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to follow a timeline established during the proposal evaluation process.
Proposals must remain valid for thirty (30) days after submission.
