Milledgeville Lamar Ham Water Treatment Plant Renovation

Background
The City of Milledgeville, Georgia is seeking bids for the renovation of the Lamar Ham Water Treatment Plant. This project aims to enhance the existing water treatment facilities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery in line with the city's mission to provide safe and reliable water services to its residents.

Work Details
The project consists of two contracts:

Contract I involves additions to the existing water treatment plant, including the construction of a new Control Building, Chemical Feed Systems and Structures, Rapid Mix Structures, Clearwell, and High Service Pump Station. It also includes all related building, site, piping, electrical, and other associated modifications.

Contract II includes the construction of a new Full Scale Pilot filtration system, which encompasses demolition, renovation, excavation, backfill, structures, piping, drains, appurtenances, electrical and mechanical modifications.

Period of Performance
Contract I has an expected duration of 540 days for substantial completion and 570 days for final completion. Contract II has an expected duration of 270 days for substantial completion and 300 days for final completion.

The work will be performed at the Lamar Ham Water Treatment Plant located in Milledgeville, Georgia.
