Mechanical Services For Hvac Replacement

Background
Resurgence Hall Charter School is seeking to retain a professional mechanical services firm for the management of HVAC replacement at their facility located at 1706 Washington Rd, East Point, GA 30344. The goal of this contract is to ensure the successful replacement of HVAC units while adhering to project planning, cost management, project control, scheduling, value engineering analysis, and quality assurance standards. Firms must demonstrate their expertise and provide evidence of past performance on similar projects.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the replacement of eight (8) RTU units with specific details as follows:
- Replace RTU #1: 5-ton Carrier RTU with new 5-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #3: 10-ton Carrier RTU with new 10-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #4: 10-ton Carrier RTU with new 10-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #5: 5-ton Carrier RTU with new 5-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #6: 12.5-ton Carrier RTU with new 12.5-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #7: 15-ton Carrier RTU with new 15-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #8: 15-ton Carrier RTU with new 15-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.
- Replace RTU #9: 12.5-ton Carrier RTU with new 12.5-ton Carrier RTU with economizer.

Additional tasks include the removal and disposal of existing units, installation of new units including all necessary connections (electrical, ductwork, plumbing), coordination for any required roofing modifications, testing and balancing of new HVAC systems, compliance with local codes and regulations, operational training for maintenance staff, and providing estimated lead times for delivery including potential delays.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be defined following the award date on January 6, 2024.

The work will be performed at Resurgence Hall Charter School located at 1706 Washington Rd, East Point, GA 30344.
