MCINTOSH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Custodial Services #2025-003

Background
The McIntosh County School District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide custodial services for its schools. The goal of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a service agreement that ensures a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students and staff.

The District emphasizes the importance of maintaining cleanliness throughout the school facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide general cleaning services and light maintenance, which include:
- Emptying waste receptacles
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets
- Dusting surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing counters and desks
- Wiping tables in cafeterias during meal times
- Graffiti removal
- Hard floor buffing
- Replenishing consumable supplies (toilet paper, paper towels)
- Cleaning walls and partitions
- Vacuuming upholstered furniture
- Washing windows
- Scrubbing restrooms
- Managing snow and ice removal around building entrances.

The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary cleaning tools, equipment, chemicals, and consumables. Services must comply with all applicable laws and safety regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will continue until June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the McIntosh County School District in Darien, Georgia.
