Right of Way Mowing and Maintenance Sealed bids will be received by the City of Americus (Owner) for a Contractor to provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for Lawn Maintenance at multiple city-owned locations. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive qualified bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth herein; provided, however, that if the bid from the responsible and responsive bidder exceeds the funds budgeted for the contract, the OWNER may negotiate with such apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within the budgeted amount. Such negotiations may include changes in the scope of work and other bid requirements. Work Details

Services are required three times per month from April through October and once per month from November through March.
Invoices must be mailed or delivered to a specific address, and completed work must be signed off by the Superintendent or Public Works Director to be paid monthly.
Any additional work beyond mowing and trimming bushes/curbing requires a written quote signed by the Superintendent before proceeding.
The contractor is responsible for compliance with all State and Federal laws, OSHA compliance, permits, debris removal, business license, and adequate insurance coverage.
