Land Clearing & Stump Removal

Background
The Waycross and Ware County Development Authority (WWDA) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for land clearing and stump removal on approximately 132.02 acres across three distinct parcels located off Gus Karle Parkway.
The WWDA's mission includes the development and management of properties to enhance economic growth in the region.

Work Details
The contract involves the clearing of three parcels of land, which includes the removal of trees, stumps, rubbish, and other vegetation. Specific tasks include:
1. Clearing vegetative materials via cutting, mulching, root raking, and/or mowing.
2. Piling and burning cleared materials away from public rights-of-way and existing industries.
3. Utility location/identification (Call 811), site safety, owner/neighbor access, traffic control, and protection of existing facilities at all times.
4. Installation of silt fencing or other containment around boundaries to minimize stormwater runoff effects.
5. Disposal of cleared materials in accordance with local fire authorities and obtaining necessary disposal permits.
6. Adherence to environmental regulations including maintaining a buffer from streams and avoiding wetlands during clearing activities.

Period of Performance
The timeframe for completion of all clearing activities for each of the three parcels is 120 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed on three distinct parcels located off Gus Karle Parkway in Waycross, Georgia.
