Janitorial Cleaning Services

Background
The City of Johns Creek seeks to engage the services of a qualified, experienced Janitorial Contractor with demonstrated skills and experience for providing janitorial services at City Hall located at 11360 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, Georgia 30097. Core operating hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Project services require daily Day Porter support and night cleaning. In some instances, nightly cleaning may require a delay in starting time due to a council meeting or other event held at City Hall.

Work Details
Contractor shall be responsible for City Hall general cleaning of all restrooms, offices, cubical, common and all other designated space and work areas, breakrooms, locker-rooms, hallways and two (2) carpeted stairwells.
Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, carpet spot cleaning, trash removal, indoor office and other internal rooms window/glass cleaning. The City reserves the right to require the selected Contractor to use alternative methods or products at no additional cost to the City if satisfactory results are not being achieved.
Contractor performance will be evaluated in terms of the cleaning results achieved and the delivery of service based upon a schedule proposed by the Contractor. All interpretations of these requirements shall be made upon the basis of this statement, with the City’s interpretation prevailing.
It is the Offeror and awarded Contractor’s responsibility to ensure that their proposal for City Hall has been calculated to include all appropriate services.
Contractor will be instrumental in contributing to an environmentally conscious workplace through a green initiative program.
One day-time porter is required and Offeror shall provide a recommended cleaning responsibility schedule for day porter and night crew based on the scope of work outlined in this RFP.

Period of Performance
City Hall operating hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. City Hall requires Day Porter support and night cleaning.
