Description

The City of College Park (hereinafter referred to as the City ) invites qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the purchase and installation of up to 50 dog waste stations.
Background
The City of College Park is seeking qualified bidders for the installation of dog waste stations to enhance community cleanliness and support responsible pet ownership. The goal is to install up to 50 dog waste stations throughout the city, contributing to the city's mission of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the purchase and installation of up to 50 dog waste stations. This includes ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and County laws and codes, obtaining necessary permits (which are free), and conducting all required inspections. The contractor must provide a performance bond and/or payment bond for 100% of the contract amount before the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Additionally, all work must adhere to specifications outlined in the proposal documents.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for one year with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City of College Park, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of current licenses for any specialized work (e.g., electricians, plumbers) as required by Georgia law. They are also required to submit a bid bond equal to at least 5% of their bid amount. Local preference may be given to businesses located within College Park if their bids are within 3% of non-local bids. Bidders must also provide certificates of insurance covering worker’s compensation, business auto policy, commercial general liability, and professional liability.
