ITB #26-19 Vending Machine Services Annual Contract for Clayton County, Georgia

Background
Clayton County, Georgia, is a suburban community located minutes south of Atlanta, with a population of approximately 259,424 residents. The County Board of Commissioners governs the area and oversees various departments, including the need for Vending Machine Services at approximately fourteen locations throughout the County. The goal of this contract is to provide vending services that generate revenue for the County while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating vending machines at designated locations within Clayton County. The services include:

1. Installation of vending machines at specified locations.
2. Regular maintenance and restocking of machines to ensure functionality and availability.
3. Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regarding vending machine accessibility.
4. Submission of manufacturer brochures or specification sheets for each type of vending machine proposed for use.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year, commencing within ten calendar days after receipt of a written Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contract may be automatically renewed for up to four successive one-year terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout Clayton County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in providing vending machine services. They are required to submit documentation proving their authority to conduct business in Georgia, including a valid business license and any necessary professional licenses. Additionally, bidders must comply with bonding and insurance requirements as outlined in Appendix B of the ITB.
