ITB # 25-95 Purchase and Installation of Electrical Outlets for EV Charging Stations

Background
This Invitation to Bid (ITB #25-95) is issued by Clayton County, Georgia, to qualified General Bidders for the purchase and installation of electrical outlets for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Clayton County Justice Center.

Work Details

The contractor must ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national codes and regulations. Minimum requirements include having three years of experience in similar work and employing a licensed electrician.

Period of Performance
The contract work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Clayton County Justice Center located at 9151 Tara Boulevard, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide documentation demonstrating their authority to conduct business in Georgia, including a valid business license.

They are required to submit a completed Contractor Affidavit under the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act along with their bid. Additionally, bidders must meet bonding requirements including a bid bond of 5% of the bid price, performance bond, and payment bond each at 100% of the bid price. Bidders are encouraged to utilize small, minority or woman-owned businesses but there is no specific SLBE subcontracting goal for this project.
