ITB 2024-015 LIlburn Stone Mountain Road and Downtown Parking Lot Resurfacing

Background
The City of Tucker, Georgia is seeking bids for the Lilburn Stone Mountain Road and Downtown Parking Lot Resurfacing Project. The project involves patching, milling, resurfacing, and marking of Lilburn Stone Mountain Road. It also includes milling, resurfacing, and striping a 7,300-sf parking area in downtown Tucker.

Work Details
The scope of work includes executing the project according to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) specifications, standards, and details. It also involves meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents, City of Tucker ordinances and regulations, OSHA standards and guidelines, MUTCD Guidelines, and other applicable codes and laws. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work. The project requires materials from GDOT approved sources and verifiable experience in construction of similar projects. Additionally, the contractor must submit a Progress Schedule upon Notice of Award.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be substantially completed within 90 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. The normal workday is from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM with lane closures limited to 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No work will be allowed on national holidays. Liquidated damages will be assessed for delays in completion.
