IFB Food

Background
The Cook County School Food Authority (SFA) is requesting sealed bids for School Nutrition for Food Products. The SFA is seeking to identify and select multiple vendors to provide the items as listed in the attached list in Attachment B.
The selected vendor(s) shall provide products in accordance with the Standard Terms and Conditions, Special Terms and Conditions, the IFB and any applicable Addenda. The SFA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept any part of a bid without accepting the whole thereof, or to accept such bid as they deem to be in the best interest of the SFA.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying and delivering various food products including labeled sealed envelopes for food, equipment, paper and chemical products, bread, milk and dairy products, kitchen supplies, cafeteria decor, cafeteria furniture, and ice cream. The contract also includes definitions of terms such as addendum, bidder, bid unit, contract documents, damaged item, dry food product, invitation for bid (IFB), NSLP (National School Lunch Program), pack size, purchase unit, SBP (School Breakfast Program), SFA (School Food Authority), solicitation, and vendor.

Period of Performance
The initial term of this contract shall commence on July 1, 2024 and terminate on June 30, 2025. The contract may be extended up to three months at the same bid pricing upon mutual agreement by both parties in written form. Additionally, the contract may be renewed by mutual agreement of both parties in written form for a 1-year term with the option to renew for 4 additional 1-year terms based on vendor performance.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Cook County Board of Education located at 37 Josey Rd., Adel GA., 31620.
