Background
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) operates the ninth largest transit system in North America, providing bus, rail, and paratransit services in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. MARTA transports over 500,000 people daily across the City of Atlanta and the counties of Clayton, DeKalb, and Fulton.

The goal of this contract is to secure armed security guard services for MARTA's Revenue Department to ensure safety and security in revenue operations.

Work Details
MARTA is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform armed security guard services. Bidders must have a minimum of five years' experience in the armed security guard industry and must be licensed by the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies with an active status.

Additionally, bidders must have at least fifteen guards actively registered with their company by the Georgia Board of Private Detectives and Security Agencies. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing a minimum of 650 billable hours of armed security guard service weekly.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution and will continue for a duration specified in the awarded contract terms.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Metropolitan Atlanta area as designated by MARTA.
