Ifb#288 Bill Arp And Stewart Parkway Sewer Line Rehabilitation

Background
The Douglasville – Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Bill Arp Road and Stewart Parkway Sewer Line Rehabilitation Project. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be ¿turn key¿ and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.

Work Details
The work to be performed shall include the rehabilitation of the following sewer mains by installation of Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP): Approximately 775 linear feet of existing 8-inch DIP and Vitrified Clay Pipe on Stewart Parkway; and Approximately 1,133 linear feet of existing 8-inch DIP and Vitrified Clay Pipe and 12-inch DIP on Bill Arp Road.
All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way.
All anticipated rights of way and easements required for the Project have been obtained.
All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.

Period of Performance
Bids will be received by the Authority at its Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Authority’s Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 at 10:00 a.m., local time, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right of way in Douglasville, Georgia.
