Homeland Drive & Redwood Street Pipe Replacement Project

Background
The City of Doraville is seeking qualified contractors to participate in the Homeland Drive & Redwood Street Pipe Replacement Project. This project aims to enhance the city's stormwater management system by replacing existing infrastructure with updated materials and structures. The City’s mission is to ensure efficient public works and maintain the integrity of its infrastructure.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Removal and replacement of existing reinforced concrete pipe with HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipe.
2. Flowable filling of abandoned pipe.
3. Removal and replacement of existing stormwater structures.
4. Installation of a new stormwater structure as specified in the project documents.

Period of Performance
The contract period is set for 60 days from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed Letter.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Homeland Drive and Redwood Street, Doraville, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses. The Service Provider must maintain a drug-free workplace and provide proof of citizenship or valid work permits for employees.

Insurance requirements include commercial general liability insurance with coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, automobile liability insurance with similar limits, and workers' compensation insurance if applicable.
