Holland Ware Park

Background
The Holland Ware Park project is initiated by the Troup County Board of Commissioners, located at 304 Church Street, Hogansville, Georgia. The project aims to enhance community recreational facilities and is part of Troup County Parks & Recreation's mission to provide quality parks and recreational opportunities for residents.

The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis following a public bid opening scheduled for May 22, 2025.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the construction of Holland Ware Park, which includes site development and various structures such as pavilions and a covered stage. Specific tasks include demolition, concrete work, masonry, metal fabrications, wood and plastic installations, thermal and moisture protection, door and window installations, finishes (including painting), specialties (like fire extinguishers), and equipment installation.

The project also includes optional additive alternates such as constructing a covered stage and a south pavilion. The contractor must adhere to detailed specifications outlined in the project manual.

Period of Performance
The anticipated start date for construction is on or about July 7, 2025. The project is expected to be substantially complete within 240 consecutive calendar days from the start date.

The work will be performed at Holland Ware Park located at 304 Church Street, Hogansville, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount. A performance bond and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price are required from the successful bidder. Bidders must also provide comprehensive liability insurance with Troup County named as co-insured.

Additionally, bidders must submit vendor applications along with e-verify forms prior to commencing work. All subcontractors are required to submit Troup County e-verify forms before starting work on-site.
