Background
The Haralson County School District (HCSD) is seeking proposals for the repair and seal coating of parking areas at HCMS facilities. The district aims to enhance its facilities to support its mission of improving student achievement for all students. The contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Wages Act.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for repairing and seal coating the parking areas at HCMS as outlined in the Work List provided in the RFP. Specific tasks may include surface preparation, application of sealant, and ensuring compliance with all relevant specifications and standards.

The contractor must provide a complete original set of proposals in a three-ring binder along with an electronic version on a USB flash drive.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with school operational schedules. Specific deadlines will be outlined in the proposal submission requirements.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Haralson County Middle School located at 299 Robertson Avenue, Tallapoosa, GA 30176.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the Davis-Bacon Wages Act and provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance, automobile liability insurance, professional liability/errors and omissions insurance, and workers' compensation insurance.

A Certificate of Insurance must be submitted as part of the proposal. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a Drug-Free Workplace policy and perform background checks on employees who will work on HCSD property.
