Harris County High School Field Turf & Track Replacement

Background
The Harris County School District, located in Hamilton, Georgia, is seeking proposals for the replacement of field turf and track at Harris County High School. The district aims to enhance its athletic facilities to better serve its students and community. The goal of this contract is to select a qualified contractor who can provide high-quality synthetic turf and track systems that meet the district's specifications.

Work Details
The project includes the following key components:

1. **Synthetic Field Turf Remove & Replace**:
- Remove and dispose offsite the existing synthetic turf.
- Regrade stone drainage material after all turf is removed (no purchase of stone drainage material or any grade changes anticipated).
- Provide and install approximately 78,000 square feet of Matrix Helix® 46 oz. 100% Polyethylene Extruded Monofilament synthetic turf system with installation options including:
- Football lines and markings.
- Soccer lines and markings.
- End Zone letters to be finalized with the selected proposer.
- One (1) center logo to be finalized with the selected proposer.
- Proprietary REALFILL™ installation using unique silica pea gravel base and ambient ground SBR rubber.
- Gmax testing.
- Provide an 8-year manufacturer warranty.

2. **Synthetic Track Remove & Replace**:
- Grind/remove existing track surfacing system from track oval, D Zones, events, and dispose offsite.
- Provide and install approximately 7,300 SY of epiQ Tracks® Q3000 (Red) full pour retop surfacing system on the track oval, D Zones, and Events.
- Stripe per local requirements.
- Clean up as necessary.

Period of Performance
The proposals are due by November 11, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., with an award expected within 30 days after that date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Harris County High School Stadium located in Hamilton, Georgia.
