Hancock County Park

Background
The Hancock County Park project is initiated by Hancock County, aiming to enhance community recreational facilities. The project includes various amenities designed to promote outdoor activities and community events, aligning with the county's mission to provide quality public spaces for residents and visitors.

Work Details
The project consists of the following components:
- A dog park
- An event lawn
- An amphitheater
- An inclusive playground
- A walking track
- Two restroom buildings
- Two picnic pavilions
- A water feature

The construction contract will encompass all trades necessary to complete these facilities.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within the timeframe specified in the Bidding Documents. The bid submission deadline is April 21, 2026.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Parcel No. S007-043, an 8.52-acre site owned by Hancock County, located across the street from 12480 Augusta Hwy in Sparta, GA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and acceptable insurance will be required from the successful bidder.
