Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking qualified, experienced individuals, groups, or firms to provide Grant Writing Services. The Successful Proposer will secure grant funding through the preparation and submittal of grant proposals to federal, state agencies, and any other applicable entities.
Background
Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia's first consolidated government, is seeking qualified individuals, groups, or firms to provide Grant Writing Services. The goal is to secure grant funding through the preparation and submission of grant proposals to federal and state agencies, as well as other applicable entities. The City aims to enhance its service delivery while maintaining low per capita costs.

Work Details
The Successful Proposer will provide the following services:

1) Assign a main Point of Contact for each writing assignment;
2) Assign a Grant Writer for each assignment to develop full proposals;
3) Attend information meetings with City Staff to understand project concepts;
4) Prepare written timelines for each proposal;
5) Create detailed lists of content requirements;
6) Develop proposal outlines;
7) Compile, write, and edit grant proposals according to funding availability notices;
8) Develop grant narratives;
9) Review existing project budgets and create grant budgets as per grantor requirements;
10) Edit proposals allowing City staff three business days for review;
11) Contact grantors for additional information during the writing process;
12) Assemble and package approved proposals in specified formats for submission one week prior to deadlines;
13) Maintain contact with grantors post-submission.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for three (3) years with an option to renew for two (2) additional twelve-month periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Columbus, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding discrimination and are encouraged to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). A notarized E-Verify Affidavit must be included with the proposal. Vendors must also provide proof of insurance applicable for the services described.
