Grady County Board of Education Custodial and Lawn Maintenance Services

Background
The Grady County School District, which serves approximately 4,450 students and employs 596 staff members, is seeking qualified firms to provide Custodial and Lawn Management Services. The goal of this contract is to design and implement a comprehensive Custodial and Lawn Management Plan that enhances the cleanliness and safety of the school environment, thereby supporting educational activities.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for:

1. Developing a Custodial and Lawn Management Plan tailored to the needs of the Grady County School District.
2. Providing all necessary management resources including personnel, training programs, equipment, materials, and supplies.
3. Cleaning various facilities including classrooms, offices, gymnasiums, laboratories, dining areas, and restrooms on a daily basis (Monday through Friday).

Specific cleaning duties include:

i. Weekly cleaning of bus shop, technology shop, maintenance shop, and Vanlandingham building;
ii. Cleaning athletic and event facilities before home events;
iii. Removal of trash from dining rooms during breakfast and lunch;
iv. Developing a cleaning plan for student holidays and summer breaks;
v. Cleaning facility rental events at an additional cost;
vi. Daily litter pickup from campuses;
vii. Mowing, weeding, edging of all exterior facilities;
viii. Sweeping or blowing porches and walkways daily;
ix. Pressure cleaning outside walkways annually;
x. Cleaning outside windows as per schedule;
xi. Maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and will run until June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Grady County School District in Cairo, Georgia.
