Golf Course Cart Paths

Background
The City of Albany, Georgia, is seeking bids for the replacement of concrete cart paths at the Flint River Golf Course.
The project aims to enhance the functionality and safety of the golf course by replacing approximately 16,000 square feet of concrete cart paths and two bridges that connect holes 9 to 19.
This initiative aligns with the city's commitment to maintaining and improving public recreational facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Tearing out and replacing approximately 16,000 square feet of concrete cart paths from hole 9 to 19.
2. Replacing two bridges, including tearing off handrails and two by eight deck boards, and rebuilding them with new materials.
3. Ensuring a smooth transition for mowers by adjusting the slope of the concrete at both ends of the bridges.
4. Using concrete with a minimum strength of 3,000 PSI with fiber reinforcement as per manufacturer’s requirements.
5. Securing and marking worksite areas for pedestrian safety during construction.
6. Notifying the City Inspector prior to concrete delivery; concrete test samples may be required for each delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract must be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Flint River Golf Course located in Albany, Georgia.
