Georgia Breakbulk Logistics Park

Background
The Georgia Breakbulk Logistics Park project, identified as J-30688.0002, is owned by the Golden Isles Development Authority. The project aims to develop infrastructure for a future industrial park, including the installation of driveways and associated site work. This solicitation is a rebid due to a lack of competitive proposals in the previous bidding event PE-66136-NONST-2026-000000006.

Work Details
The project includes the installation of one full access driveway and one right-in right-out driveway, along with site clearing, grading, and associated infrastructure. Specific tasks include:
- Site Clearing
- Grading
- Installation of a sanitary sewer system including 12” Fusible PVC C900 DR-18 Forcemain and Jack and Bore 16" FPVC Casing.
- Water distribution system installation with 12" PVC C900 DR-18 Water Main and various fittings.
- Storm drainage installation including 18" R.C.P., storm manholes, and inlets.
- Paving works including asphaltic concrete surface courses, signage, striping, and traffic control measures.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be substantially completed within 180 calendar days from the commencement date specified in the contract documents. Final completion is required within 240 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Georgia Breakbulk Logistics Park site located in Brunswick, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified GDOT contractors. Bids must include a bid bond or certified cashier's check for at least 10% of the base bid amount. Performance and payment bonds are required for the successful bidder in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
