General Engineering Services

Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide General Engineering Services for Districts 1 and 6. This includes Cobb and Douglas Counties in District 7. This initiative aims to identify potential providers for various GDOT projects, ensuring that selected firms are sufficiently qualified to deliver the required services.

Work Details
The selected consultant will provide general engineering services for GDOT projects identified in the RFQ. The anticipated scope of work includes but is not limited to:
- Project management
- Design services
- Environmental assessments
- Other engineering tasks as specified in the project contracts.

GDOT anticipates awarding two On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contracts to two firms, with a minimum contract amount of $25,000 and a maximum of $60 million per contract. Payment types may include Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost per Unit of Work, or Specific Rate of Compensation.

Period of Performance
The contracts will remain in effect for three years with an option to extend each contract for up to five additional years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Districts 1 and 6, specifically including Cobb and Douglas Counties in District 7.
