GDC-23-BURR-SP-005, Burruss State Prison Mechanical Upgrades

Background
The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the Georgia Department of Corrections for the Burruss State Prison Mechanical Upgrades project.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the mechanical systems at the prison, ensuring improved functionality and efficiency in line with the agency's mission to maintain safe and secure correctional facilities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Replacement of underground heating water supply and return loops.
- Replacement of underground chilled water supply and return loops.
- Bringing gas utility to Building M.
- Adding access doors to dorm penthouse mechanical rooms.
- HVAC replacement in Buildings A, B, J, K.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period leading up to the bid opening on August 14, 2024.
A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 31, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Burruss State Prison located at 1000 Indian Springs Drive, Forsyth, Georgia 31029.
