Work Details
The contractor will provide all equipment, labor, materials, permits, and supervision necessary to complete the project. Specific tasks include:
- Removal and disposal of the existing concrete slab, which contains plumbing and electrical lines that must remain functional.
- Installation of a new concrete slab approximately 80’ x 33’ by 6” thick, reinforced with steel rebar and having a minimum compressive strength of 5,000 psi.
- Ensuring proper pitch for stormwater runoff.
- Removal and inspection of the existing stationary compactor with necessary repairs to the drain underneath it.
- Replacement of the stationary compactor in its original position after project completion.
- Inspection and potential repair or replacement of the drainpipe extending from the compactor drain to the septic tank.
- Coordination with Hall County's Solid Waste Division for any necessary site closures or utility interruptions at least three days in advance.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within thirty (30) calendar days.
