Fy2025 Roadway Striping Project

Background
The Decatur County Board of Commissioners is issuing this solicitation for the FY 2025 Roadway Striping Project. The project aims to enhance roadway safety and visibility through the installation of traffic striping and signage across various roads in Decatur County, Georgia.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the FY 2025 Roadway Striping Project. The scope includes:
- Construction of traffic striping on 14 roads totaling 18.73 linear miles.
- Installation of stop bars and Raised Pavement Markers (RPMS).
- Replacement of signage and posts on each road.
- All associated measures required for the complete project as per construction drawings.

The work must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days to reach substantial completion, with a total of 194 consecutive calendar days allocated for contract close-out.

Bidders must be pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractors. Bids must include a Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check for at least 10% of the bid amount. Successful bidders will need to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond at 100% of the contract amount. Additionally, all contractors and subcontractors must register with E-Verify to comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act.
