FY 2026 Right of Way Mowing and Landscape Maintenance Contract SR 92 South Bid Number: 26021-1513

Background
The contract is issued by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners, which aims to maintain the aesthetics and safety of public roadways through effective landscape management. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive mowing and maintenance services for the Right of Way along SR 92 South.

Work Details
The contractor will perform up to 17 cycles of median and roadside mowing on approximately 11.5 acres of Right of Way. The scope includes:
- Mowing
- Trimming
- Litter pickup
- Herbicide application
- Fertilizer mixed grade application
- Plant bed trimming and maintenance
- Tree trimming and maintenance.

Additionally, there will be up to four (4) cycles of non-growing season litter pickup on 12.1 shoulder miles and 5.9 median miles.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after the bid opening on February 20, 2026, with specific completion timelines detailed in the specifications.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along SR 92 South in Paulding County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide valid proof of insurance that meets or exceeds the Owner's requirements, a list of three references for similar work (excluding the Owner), a list of equipment to be used for the project as specified in Attachment 1, A.6.ii., and must be able to bond 100% of the bid cost through an approved surety company. Additionally, bidders are required to perform at least 70% of the project without subcontractors.
