Food & Drink Vending Services - Wilcox SP

Background
The Georgia Department of Corrections is seeking a contractor to provide food and drink vending services at Wilcox State Prison. The goal of this contract is to ensure that high-quality snacks and beverages are available to the facility's employees and visitors, while also generating revenue through commissions on sales.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining vending machines at Wilcox State Prison, ensuring they are stocked with a variety of high-quality snacks and beverages. Specific requirements include:

- Installation of automatic food and drink machines at no cost to the Department.
- Machines must be supplied adequately to meet demand, with additional machines provided if visitor numbers increase.
- All machines must be serviced regularly to remain operational.
- The contractor must provide Energy Star compliant vending machines.
- The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits.
- Monthly sales reports must be submitted along with commission payments by the 10th of each month.
- A non-commission drink machine for staff use may also be required.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will include four annual renewal options, allowing for continued service based on performance and funding availability.

Wilcox State Prison, 472 S. Broad Street, Abbeville, GA 31001.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must maintain all required insurance coverage, including workers' compensation and general liability insurance. Additionally, the contractor's personnel must comply with the Department's rules and regulations, including passing background checks.
