Food & Drink Vending Services - Helms Facility

Background
The Georgia Department of Corrections is seeking to establish a contract for Food & Drink Vending Services at the Helms Facility located in Atlanta, GA. The purpose of this procurement is to provide vending services that meet the needs of the facility's staff and visitors, ensuring a variety of food and drink options are available. The contract aims to enhance the overall service experience while generating revenue through commission from sales.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing full-service vending operations, which includes supplying all listed items on the bid sheet. Suppliers must quote prices for all specified items or brands, but comparable alternatives will also be considered. The award will go to a single bidder who offers the highest percentage of commission on sales, which must be clearly indicated on the Vending Bid Sheet. The services include maintaining vending machines, restocking products, and ensuring machines are operational at all times.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is for one calendar year from the execution date, with four optional one-year renewals at the discretion of the State Entity.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Helms Facility located at 1275 Constitution Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30316.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register in Team Georgia Marketplace™ and comply with all submission instructions outlined in the eRFQ. Additionally, they must maintain appropriate insurance coverage including Workers Compensation Insurance and Commercial General Liability Insurance with specified minimum coverage limits. Bidders are also required to adhere to any applicable state regulations regarding procurement and vendor conduct.
